The Certificate of Identity (CI), known as the “green passport”, is the document Myanmar workers use in place of a passport. Renewing the CI on time is essential: once it expires, the visa and work permit cannot be renewed, so the worker immediately becomes an unauthorised resident working illegally, which brings severe legal penalties for both employer and worker. Our service helps you move from the old CI book to a new one (usually valid for 4 years) smoothly and in line with the relevant Cabinet resolutions. We take care of everything: booking the appointment at the designated CI Center, preparing the required documents, taking workers for their photos and nationality verification, through to moving the visa stamp from the old book to the new one, so your workers hold valid identity documents and can keep living and working in Thailand securely.
